# Create a path

* Go to the toolbar at the top-left of the Editor and select the Pen tool.
* Click on the canvas to add new points and create a path.
* Connecting the start and end node of the path closes the path.
* You can also adjust various properties of the path from changing the position of its nodes to its stroke width or colour.

### Create a curved path

* Go to the toolbar at the top-left of the Editor and select the Pen tool
* Click on the canvas to add new points and create a path
* Click-down when adding a new point to draw a curved path
* You can adjust these curves later too by tweaking the curve tangent handles (see next page).
