From Canvas
Using Shift or CMD/ CTRL + Select on the canvas
The Shift and CMD/CTRL key have the same function on the canvas,. When either key is held down, they enable you to add you multiple layers to your selection group.
Drag to select
Click your mouse/ trackpad down somewhere on the artboard, and drag to select all the layers in the drag area.
You can now release the mouse click, and adjust the layers E.g moving them around or bulk-changing their properties
