# Curving a motion path

To curve a motion path,

* After you've [created a motion path](/editor/canvas/layer-controls-huds/motion-path/create-a-motion-path.md)
* Select the points on the motion path
* Drag the motion path tangent handle to curve it
* Use both handles to create more complex paths
