# Artboard properties
Your artboard has a few main properties too such as its size and the background color that can be adjusted.
### Size
To change the size of your artboard
* Click out on the canvas.
* Go to the the properties panel on the right.
* Edit the 'File size' property as desired
### Background color
To change the background color of your artboard:
* Click out on the canvas.
